Copper catalyzed oxidative coupling of amines with formamides: a new approach for the synthesis of unsymmetrical urea derivatives.

Direct access to unsymmetrical urea derivatives via copper catalysed C-H/N-H coupling of formamides with amines has been developed at room temperature. This protocol is also applied to the synthesis of chiral urea derivatives.

Diastereoselective synthesis of P-chirogenic phosphoramidate prodrugs of nucleoside analogues (ProTides) via copper catalysed reaction.

The first copper-catalysed diastereoselective synthesis of P-chiral phosphoramidate prodrugs (ProTides) is reported. This procedure allows the synthesis of diastereomeric-enriched mixtures of ProTides. Application of this methodology to the asymmetric phosphorylation of purine and pyrimidine nucleoside analogues is presented.

An Aerobic Oxidative Coupling Approach for the Synthesis of N-substituted 2-aminobenzothiazole Derivatives using Iron Catalyst

A facile and convenient method was developed for the formation of novel N substituted 2-aminobenzothiazoles via an iron-catalysed condensation of 2-aminobenzothizole with different amines. This method is applicable for a wide range of aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic amines furnishing moderate yields of the corresponding products and thus rendering the methodology as a highly eco-friendly, ...

Cu-catalyzed aerobic oxidative three-component coupling route to N-sulfonyl amidines via an ynamine intermediate.

Cu-catalyzed aerobic oxidative three-component coupling of a terminal alkyne, secondary amine, and sulfonamide enables efficient synthesis of amidines. The use of Cu(OTf)2 (5 mol %) produces amidines selectively without Glaser-Hay alkyne homocoupling products. Preliminary studies suggest that the reaction pathway involves initial oxidative coupling of the terminal alkyne with the secondary amin...

One-pot synthesis of amides by aerobic oxidative coupling of alcohols or aldehydes with amines using supported gold and base as catalysts.

Synthesis of amides by aerobic oxidative coupling of alcohols or aldehydes with amines via intermediate formation of methyl esters is highly efficient and selective when using a catalytic system comprised of supported gold nanoparticles and added base in methanol.
